colporteur

Apparently the best day to go canvassing is the day you don’t want to go. So Jonathan and I went canvassing today, and I didn’t particularly want to go. I have a lot of other things that need to be done, and I don’t really look at canvassing as my primary focus. The students are.

But we went anyway, and cleared our first cul-de-sac quickly, as few were home, and we found no interest. But we persevered and found another spot to do in our remaining time. Unfortunately, Jonathon had to go to all the other houses while I was stuck on one. But God blessed. Even though all the “signs” were against me (he was on the phone, his wife came home), they got the Great Controversy. Not only that, but the reason they are interested is they have children both at UM and EMU, and wanted to support the ministry. So in the end I may have connected with some students.
