the money trail

It always amuses me how reconciling my bank account turns out to be a wonderful trip down memory lane. An expenditure at a certain restaurant, a receipt from out of state, or a trail of a certain shopping expedition. I suppose it shows how tightly our societies sense of enjoyment is tied with money.

“By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned.” – Ezekiel 28.16

Ok. that wasn’t really the point I was trying to make.

Just the part about going over finances is a good way to reflect.
